Bonarda - Vastago de GEA 2019
Bodega Staphyle was born of the Porretta’s family dream to produce their wines. In 2002, the family decided to rebuild their old winery, built in the 1930s. This fascinating Boutique Winery is located in Carrodilla, Lujan de Cuyo, Mendoza. The latest wine technology blends in with its wooden ceilings and large windows glazed.

This Vástago de Gea is made from 100% Bonarda, the second most widespread variety in Argentina. It is only partially related to the variant from Piedmont. Only 30% of this wine was briefly aged in oak. The Argentinian version gives dark wines with fruity aromas, round tannins and nice supporting acidity. It can therefore be served slightly fresher (16°C).
